| These rare tracks were once given on DAT by Alan Douglas to the California-based radio station KPFA. More than a decade later we were finally able to get a direct digital copy of that legendary tape, which is still locked inside the vauls of KPFA FM. This disc inclues the whole content of that tape in superb studio quality, as well as an unreleased studio jam between Jimi and Larry Young. As usual, no overdubs were made to preserve the feeling of the original recording. |
